If you eventually move to a bigger place that needs two, and then three APs to cover your whole house, then logging into and administering 3 all-in-ones converted into APs becomes a bit cumbersome, and using "real" APs begins to shine.Īll-in-ones tend to blast their signals in all directions (sphere shaped), while APs generally have a bit tighter focus, concentrated as a "droopy cone" radiating down from their tops.
